Does Rainmaker Irrigation provide a Free Estimate on new
installations?
ANSWER: Yes, Rainmaker Irrigation will provide a free
estimate for anyone requesting to add one or more zones
to an existing system, or for those individuals who are
installing a new system.
QUESTION: How do I get a separate water meter installed
for the irrigation system and why would I want one?
ANSWER: A separate water meter will save you money (in
the Atlanta area) on the cost associated with sewage
bills. If you notice, for every $ spent on your water,
you get charged equally for the sewer. Contact your
local water company for pricing and installation dates
or visit them on-line. The new meter placement should be
located near your irrigation tie-in. We recommend that
you purchase the 1” meter, but we can “tie-in” to either
a ¾” or 1”. Once the meter is installed, you will need
to contact your irrigation company to perform a “meter
tie-in”.
QUESTION: Do you offer maintenance agreements/service
contracts?
ANSWER: We offer a yearly maintenance agreement, which
includes: spring startup, winterization, and one
additional service call during the agreement period.
Please contact us for a price quote on your system. On
any additional visits the Trip Charge is waived for
service contract customers.
QUESTION: Why do I have to “winterize” my irrigation
system?
ANSWER: For preventative maintenance (system will last
longer) and in order to prevent pipe or parts damage due
to freezing temperatures, we recommend that you
winterize your irrigation system. This consists of
draining the water out of the pipes and turning the
system off until Spring.
QUESTION: What is not covered under your warranty?
ANSWER: Acts of God (problems relating to weather),
power surges, damage made by other companies, vandalism,
landscaping damage, or parts that are hit by a vehicle.
In other words, we cover manufacturer and install
related defects only.
